Blowing bubbles

With the weather getting cooler, we've been going to the swimming pool more often. I've been trying to teach Grady to blow bubbles in the water. Mostly he would just swallow the water and come up sputtering. But yesterday, he blew his first bubbles in the bathtub! Today he was practicing in his milk.

Practicing with a spoon

(Also, Grady has started to say, "uh, oh". He'll throw food, utensils, cups off his tray and then say, "uh, oh!". You can see his mouth making the sounds in these next two pictures.)

"Uh ....

... oh!"

Rainy days

With the rain and cool temperatures, it feels like we skipped fall and headed right into winter. We still go outside to play every afternoon, but it takes us a lot longer to get ready now!

All excited about going out to play!

And ... getting irritated because I am taking pictures!

Drinking from a cup

I didn't think Grady was drinking enough water from his sippy cup, so we tried an actual cup. He loves the novelty of it and is now drinking lots ... and spilling lots!

"more!"

Cousins

Christa and Easton came to visit last week. As Grady and Easton get older, they are starting to notice each other and play together (just a little bit though!).

A video of Grady NOT saying "Hi"!

Grady has started to say, "Hi!". When we are out walking, he'll say hello to everyone we see. Or, when he is standing at the front window looking out, he says hi to the people (and dogs!) walking by our house. When he says "Hi", it sounds like "Hieeee!" ... it's so cute.

I tried to get a video of him saying it, but of course that did not work. So, here is a video of Grady not saying "Hi".
