Soccer

Grady has started a program at the Rec. Centre called "Soccer Tots". He goes once a week and plays soccer for an hour. So far, they've learned warm-up games, slow kicks, fast kicks, and the soccer stop. He seems to enjoy it and it's a great way for him to burn some energy!

We had plans to meet friends for dinner out on Friday night. I was talking to Grady about it during the day and he was so excited. I left him alone for a few minutes (to go downstairs to do laundry) and came back upstairs to find that he was all "spruced up" for dinner! He had done his hair and also put on make-up (monkey see, monkey do!). He thought he looked pretty awesome.

Grady was coloring a picture and I was not paying attention, so he colored himself instead! When I asked him what he was doing, he told me that he wanted to have "tiger stripes".

Quadra

We had great weather here last weekend, so we went for one last camping trip for the summer. It was so hot out that we decided to go to Quadra Island since the campsites are right on the beach. This was a good choice because Grady spent almost the whole weekend swimming!

We went to the cabin this past weekend. Diana was here visiting, so she came with us. We had great weather and lots of fun. We didn't catch any fish, but it didn't really matter. Grady loved being out there ... his favorite things to do were fishing off the dock and driving the boat.
