Snowshoeing

Merry Christmas!

Grady was so excited for Christmas this year and it was a lot of fun with him.  He loved setting out the stockings and cookies for Santa. And, he was really happy in the morning to see that Santa had visited our house! We opened our gifts in the morning, and then we went sledding/ snowshoeing.  (Unfortunately, Sandy was really sick, so missed out on Christmas day this year).

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve ... sledding, a fancy dinner, setting up the stockings, and putting out cookies for Santa!

Gingerbread men

Grandma RonaLee and Papa Ken came to visit us this week. We spent the afternoon decorating gingerbread cookies, which Grady thought was great. I think he was trying to see how much candy he could fit on one cookie!

Rudolph

We made this reindeer using Grady's handprints and footprint. He wanted to make it into Rudolph, so we added the red nose. Then, we added a toque and jingle bells. I love this picture and Grady is very proud of it ... as you can see!

Snow day!

O Christmas Tree!

We are back online! There was a brief hiatus because of an issue with blogger, but I think I've fixed it. We went Christmas tree hunting this weekend and found a beauty tree. It started to snow just as we were chopping it down. And, the snow really started coming down while we were decorating. It was very pretty and Grady was so excited!

Yesterday Grady and I went to watch the Christmas parade on 5th Street. It was fun, but cold!

Cousins

Last weekend Easton stayed at our house for a sleepover. These two had so much fun playing and running around. It was pretty awesome for everyone!

Snain

We had our first bit of snow/rain this week. It was pretty exciting for Grady ... it didn't stick, but he still had to get outside and play right away!
