Grady and I attended a wedding last weekend, so we were dressed up nicely.  The bride had little favor buckets for the kids, with funny things in it ... see the bottom picture!

Blueberry picking

We went blueberry picking at a local farm last week. Grady and I picked 4 lbs. of blueberries in a hour and ate a few along the way too!

We went swimming at a friend's outdoor pool last week.  Grady stayed in the water for 2 and a half hours and swam the entire time!

Quad ride

We went to visit Lysh at her house on the farm this week.  She took Grady for a quad ride and he was thrilled!

Grady and Easton

Easton spent yesterday afternoon with us. We played at the park, splashed in the river, and finished off with an ice-cream.  Both the little boys had so much fun. They are really cute together.

Swimming lessons at the outdoor pool

It's summer, which means swimming lessons at the outdoor pool.  Grady loves these lessons and is doing well in his new level, Sunfish.

Fishing

We went to the cabin for two days last week.  It was beautiful out and we caught a few fish!  We all had a great time and can't wait to get back out there.

Auntie Di's visit

Auntie Di came to Courtenay last week to visit and do some packing.  Grady was absolutely thrilled to have her here.  He spent the entire week talking to Auntie Di, getting her to play with him, and asking her to watch whatever he was doing!  We went to the beach a few times, and also to Saratoga Speedway where Grady and Auntie Di went on a go-cart ride AND a monster truck ride!!! (These pictures were taken with Auntie Di's fancy camera. The quality is amazing).

We went to the Canada Day parade yesterday.  The local swim club was marching in the parade and one of the girls gave Grady a pair of goggles. He was thrilled and he's been wearing them pretty much non-stop.
