21 weeks

Here we are, at a little over half-way, and doing great! Baby is approximately ten inches long (from head to heel) and weighs about 12 ounces. So far, I am noticing a lot of movement late at night! Grady and Sandy have both been able to feel little kicks and jabs on the outside, so that's been really special for all of us.

Soccer wind-up

Grady had his last day of soccer on Saturday. He was so thrilled when he received a medal and his own ball to bring home.

Happy Birthday Easton!

Today is Easton's 5th birthday. We attended his birthday party this weekend - at the bowling alley in Campbell River - it was lots of fun. Happy Birthday Easton!

Elevate the Arts

On the weekend, Grady and I checked out an event going on downtown called "Elevate the Arts". It was a big showcase for various forms of art. Grady's favorite activities were hula hooping and painting.

19 weeks

Yesterday we had our half-way ultrasound where they check to make sure everything is okay with the baby. We received a phone call from our midwife today and she said that everything looks good! Since Sandy couldn't be there, the ultrasound tech printed off a couple of extra pictures for us. It was so amazing seeing all of the baby's parts (except one! ;) and watching the baby move around.

Jungle Pete

We borrowed a Mickey Mouse video from the library this week. Grady loved it. He was playing the drums with Jungle Pete here ... pretty funny!

We went to visit Auntie Heather last week and she made Grady an ice cream float ... his first ever ... I think he enjoyed it!
