Bath time!

The boys have a bath together every night and it's become a pretty fun routine. They play and splash around. I enjoy taking a break at the end of the day and watching them. 

Grady's first school award

Today Grady received his first school award. It was for, "encouraging others to do their best, always having a positive attitude, and helping others without being asked". We are very proud of him.

Daddy time

Sandy was home last week. He always does his best to spend time with the boys, but I'm usually there as well. This time, I had a hair appointment one morning and was gone for 2.5 hours - the longest I've left Hunter yet. I was wondering how it would go, but didn't need to worry because they had a great time together. No crying from the baby, and Sandy said they received a lot of attention when they were out at the store! 

Crawling!

Hunter has been army crawling for a month, but tonight is the first time he crawled using his hands and knees. It's so much fun watching him learn and try new things. He's such a sweet baby.

Happy 7 months baby Hunter!

Hunter is 7 months old today! He weighs 19.4 lbs. and is 27.5" long. The past month has brought a few big changes for baby Hunter. He has started eating food and seems to really enjoy it now. He's also become quite a little mover. Hunter is still doing his own version of the army crawl to get around. He's also figured out how to go from lying on his stomach to a seated position, and how to get out of a seated position without doing a major face plant!

Grandma Liz made the boys matching shorts. They are very cute!

Swings

Grady has (finally!) learned how to swing by himself! He managed to get some pretty big height too!

In the woods

There is a branch that sticks out of a fallen tree near the edge of the trail in the woods. Grady likes to call it his teeter-totter. Both boys had a ride on it today!

Auntie Heather and Hunter

Auntie Heather always gets the best smiles out of this little baby ... probably because she gives him nothing but pure love.

Penny carnival

Tonight was the annual penny carnival at Grady's school. It's the main fundraiser for the year where they set up the whole school with different carnival-type stations. Grady liked the bouncy castle and the sports section. He also got his face painted like a ninja turtle!

Grandma Liz visits

Grandma Liz came for a visit this past weekend. We all loved having her here and just wish that she could have stayed for longer! On Saturday, we went for a nice hike on the river trail and took some neat pictures.

Goofing around

Grady has started "wrestling" with Hunter which basically involves rolling around on the floor with him. It's pretty cute and they both have a lot of fun with it. I make sure to keep a close eye on them though ... Grady still outweighs Hunter by 30lbs!
