Grady's term two report card

Grady brought home his term two report card yesterday. It's very positive and highlights his friendly and caring personality. He needs to work on reading fluency, which we knew. His favorite subject is science and he enjoys his outdoor time at school. 

Hockey on the deck

The boys love to play hockey with the mini sticks in the house. It's something that they can play together and it's fun. But today, it was getting crazy so I sent them outside. The deck is the perfect mini stick arena! I think there will be a lot more of these games to come.

Hunter really wanted to go outside and play in the rain today. So we geared up and headed out...!

Hockey tourney

Today was a one day hockey tournament up in Campbell River and also Grady's last day of hockey for the year. He played so well and had a lot of fun.

Gymnastics championship

Grady took part in the gymnastics championship as a conclusion to the gymnastics program he was enrolled in throughout the winter. He did a great job with his routines and earned four gold ribbons.

Backyard fun

We played in the backyard for a long time today. Both the boys were happy to dig in the dirt, chase bubbles, and throw the hula hoops. 

Baby gymnastics

Hunter kept climbing up the ladder to the top bunk, so we took it off the beds for safety. Grady used it to build a baby gym in the living room this morning. Hunter had a lot of fun going up and down. 

Tagging along

Hunter is getting to the age where he realizes when Grady is doing something fun without him. Today he climbed up on a chair and "built" Lego with the big boys. They were nice enough to include him and he was happy to just move a few pieces around.
