Boating

Papa and Grandma took us out on their new boat this weekend. It was the perfect day for a little boat ride. We half hearted attempted to fish but mostly just enjoyed being out on the water. 

A sleepover for Grady

Grandma Liz and Papa invited Grady for a sleepover on Thursday night since there was no school on Friday. Grady was really excited to be there and wanted Hunter and I to leave right away. 

He built a city out of blocks. 

And watched TV and ate ice cream with grandma. 

Down time

I've been booking Wednesdays off work recently. It's nice to have the downtime with Hunter mid-week. Our "schedule" usually involves reading books, playing trains, and walking Ryder. We both enjoy it. 

Filling up his piggy bank

Papa Dave saves his change for the little boys. This time, Hunter had the opportunity to fill up his piggy bank. He was excited to drop each coin into the opening. 

Sleepover

Grady had his first friends sleepover on the weekend. His hockey buddy, Easton, spent the night after their practice. The boys ate pizza, had a pillow fight, and watched a movie. It was a lot of fun. 

Baby Gage

Very good friends of ours had a baby boy on the 16th. Grady was excited to hold Gage. Hunter wanted a turn as well!

Papa Dave's birthday

It was Papa Dave's birthday on Wednesday but we celebrated on Sunday night with everyone. Hunter and Grady were very excited about the dessert!

Sandy flew home today and it was Family Day, so we didn't have school or work! Another bonus was that it was sunny!!

Alysha and I took Hunter and Everly for a walk at the air park today and then continued on to the beach. The kids loved running in the sand. Of course, Hunter had to run right into the actual water!
