Papa Ken's visit

Papa Ken stopped in for a visit on Sunday on his way back to Gibsons. He read to both boys, played soccer, helped Hunter get dressed, and watched him while I rode with Grady to school.  He will have to go back to work for some rest!

Hunter really wanted his outfit to match Papa's so we convinced him that a white undershirt was pretty much the same as Ken's vest!

Batter up

Grady had his first baseball game of the season tonight. He played in the field (didn't see any action out there). He made it up to bat three times: one time he hit and made it to first, one time he walked, and one time the pitch hit him so he got to walk to first. Next weekend, his team has a tournament in town so we are all looking forward to that. 

Outdoor art

We took our art outside this week and painted some pine cones to look like flowers. Hunter got more paint on me than anywhere else but it was still fun. 

It's a winner

I bought Hunter a new Paw Patrol water bottle today. He was pretty excited to see all the pups on it.

Grandma Liz's Birthday

Today was Grandma Liz's birthday. It was a busy day but we were lucky to have everyone together for a quick dinner tonight. The little boys were so excited to give Grandma their cards, present, and to help with blowing out the candles!

Everly spent a day with us this week.  Grady was home sick from school so all three kids had fun hanging out together.

More Stanley

Stanley is settling into our family. Grady and Hunter have a lot of fun playing with him. Ryder is still mostly avoiding him, but I'm hopeful that he will grow to at least tolerate him! Stanley usually wakes up once in the night, but last night he slept right through. We also went on our first walk outside the yard today.
