We had a pergola put up in our backyard this weekend. The boys loved watching the construction process.

Hunter's first ice time

Hunter is enrolled in a tiny tots ice session this Fall. He is so excited to finally get on the hockey ice and tries on his gear daily. 

When Sandy was home, we went to the rink and Hunter tried skating for the first time! Grady also got to try out his new skates. He's looking forward to another season of hockey. 

A hot cabin trip

Home from another great trip to the cabin. Still no fish but at least we had awesome weather.

River time

We walked down to the river first thing this morning and were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for a few hours. It was so quiet and peaceful. 

Driving range

Today we hit up the driving range for a change of pace. The boys each had a bucket of balls and they had a blast hitting them out onto the field. 

Riding camp

Grady just finished up a three day riding camp at Sprout Meadows. He learned a lot about horses, their care and maintenance, and also practiced riding. 

Snuggles

Hunter has been extra snuggly (ie. clingy!) since Sandy left for work. He wants to stay very close to me at all times, which is mostly nice.

Hockey on the brain

Hunter will be old enough this Fall to participate in Tiny Tots. We started getting some gear together for him and he is SO exited. It's pretty cute. 

Pool and BBQ

Tonight Heather and Brad invited us over to Brad's parents house for a BBQ and swim. The boys loved every bit of it and it was really nice to cool off at the end of the day.
