Halloween

Happy Halloween! What a fun day. 

Walking with salmon

The fish have returned to the streams and the boys love watching them. We've had some long, slow walks recently as we watch the fish swim upstream. Today the boys were in the creek walking alongside them. 

Time together

Hunter and I had a nice morning with no plans other than being together. We started at the air park for a walk and ended at Tim Horton's for a donut!

Hunter is three!

Today was Hunter's third birthday. We celebrated with swimming, peanut butter and jam sandwiches, family visits, and a party tonight. A fun day for a special kid! It's so amazing to look back over the pictures and see how much he has changed and grown. He's very smart, independent, and determined. He's brave and loves to copy whatever Grady is doing. He's also very sweet and loving. We are lucky to have him as our little boy. 

Sunday morning beach walk

We took advantage of a break in the weather and met Auntie Heather for a beautiful walk along the beach. 

Chopping kindling

Apparently Sandy thinks Grady is old enough to chop kindling now. I like his fingers so tend to disagree, but Sandy taught him how to properly hold the wood and the axe. Grady was careful and did a good job. 

Public skating

We took the boys to public skating on Friday. We all really enjoyed it and Hunter especially loved being pushed around in the car.
