More snow!!

It snowed again this week! We couldn't believe it. I think it's snowed more this year than the last 5 years combined. Anyway, the boys weren't giving up riding their bikes so off we went in the snow. 

 
 
 

Laundry

Both boys are acquiring a list of chores they are responsible for completing. I'm constantly impressed with how much they can do (when I get out of the way!). This was their first round of washing a load of laundry from start to finish.

The rain washed away most of the snow so we were able to get out on our bikes this weekend. We all rode, even Hunter! It was a short ride, but nice to get out. 

 
 

 

Papa's birthday

Yesterday was Papa's birthday. We had a great celebration and Papa was very kind to let the boys help him blow out the candles. 

 
 
 
 
 

 

Drawing

Grady's been on a big drawing kick lately and created some new art for our fridge. 

He's also doing a drawing challenge with Auntie Heather ... one drawing per day corresponding to the alphabet.

Port McNeill hockey tournament

We went to Port McNeill on the weekend for a hockey tournament. The weather wasn't looking very good on Friday so my Dad loaned us his truck for the drive. We cruised in style all weekend!

Snow day

It snowed again overnight so they closed the schools today. We had a fun snow day at home. 

We blew up an ivory soap bar in the microwave and then made it into shaped soap. 

Played some hallway bowling. 

And went for a walk with the snowshoes!

What a difference a few days can make...!

The snow started on Friday and hasn't stopped! We've been busy shovelling and playing and sledding. The boys are loving it.
