May long weekend cabin trip
We went the cabin for May long weekend and had an awesome time. The weather was beautiful. Sandy and my Dad caught a beauty halibut. And, we had an amazing experience at Friendly Cove when we watched a whale run it's belly along the surf line!

Fresh hair cut
Grady chose the style for his recent hair cut ... first time he's been given that freedom! He loves it (and, at least it's not a mohawk!)

Arden penny carnival
Each year, Grady's school hosts a carnival type event as a fundraiser and community gathering. I'm on the organizing committee so we are pretty involved in the process! The boys love the event and this year was no different. Hunter really liked the bouncy castles this year. And, it was the first time we let Grady go on his own around the school.

Inquiry fair project
For this year's Inquiry fair project, Grady chose to do a project on suspension bridges. He did a lot of research, including an interview with an expert.
For part of his project, he wanted to build an actual bridge. Thankfully Papa Dave came to the rescue! Together they built an amazing (and accurate) suspension bridge.
Grady was very proud of his completed project and enjoyed the process.

Wood bugs
Hunter really likes wood bugs. He loves finding them, carrying them around, and stuffing them in his pockets. Luckily, this one escaped the pocket fate!
