Grandma RonaLee’s visit

On Sunday, Grandma RonaLee came to visit. The boys loved reading with her early on Monday morning.

The boys went out to get some firewood today. They had lots of fun and found some good wood. 

While they were doing that, we had a special day for Auntie Heather. Soon it will be baby time!

Matching joggers and matching shorts! This is so cute to me. I’m glad Grady still goes along with it.

Well, we had an “exciting” day yesterday. Stanley cut his paw on his pack walk and needed stitches. And then Hunter was sick in the night. So, we had a quiet day today where everyone rested.

Kindergarten registration

Today we registered Hunter for kindergarten. He will go to Arden next year with Grady. He’s so excited! We brought home an information package with “homework” that he completed right away. 

Football in the sun

We woke up to snow on the ground! But, by the afternoon, the roads were clear. So, we headed out for a walk. Grady brought the football and the boys had fun tossing it back and forth. 

Uncle Bill’s new property

Yesterday we went to check out Uncle Bill’s new property. There’s a swing! So, hunter thinks it’s great. 

Campbell River tourney

Grady’s team played in a tournament in Campbell River this weekend. They went through the round robin and finished with 3 wins and 1 loss (their best tournament record this season!). They played in a semi-final this morning and lost 2-1 to CR. They did play their hearts out though. Grady was awarded the MVP “trophy” (a toque) for the final game. They also received a bronze medal.

Wednesdays at Grandma and Papa’s

On Wednesdays, Hunter spends the day with Grandma and Papa. They swim in the morning and pick Grady up after school. The rest of the day is filled with fun activities and lots of attention just for Hunter, which he loves!

It was so mild AND dry here today! We took advantage of it and headed out for a big walk. The boys were able to wheel since the pavement was dry. 

Spring soccer

Hunter is going to play Spring soccer and he is so excited about it. Luckily we still have the gear from when Grady played. Hunter had to try it all on one day this week, but he forgot to put on shorts!
