Papa Ken bought this shirt for Hunter. He thinks it’s pretty cool! Grady just happened to be wearing his hockey shirt on the same day so we made Hunter’s whole name!

Hunter is finally interested in working on our big floor puzzles! He can do them by himself but prefers for me to sit with him and “help”.
Yesterday Hunter and I went on a beautiful, long beach walk with Stanley. The weather was lovely and we had the whole beach almost to ourselves!
Tonight Grady made dinner for us - from start to finish! We had pancakes and they were really good. He was so pleased with himself. I think we will have to get him in the kitchen more often.
Bryce (9 weeks), Hunter (4.5 years), and Grady (10 years). We celebrated Grandma’s 65th birthday. Papa caught a few halibut. Sandy chopped up a log on shore for some firewood. And we made s’mores too!
Last night was the penny carnival at Arden. It’s a huge event for the school and lots of fun for the kids. Hunter went around with me, but Grady was off with his friends all night.
I did help with Grady’s class in the morning though - while they completed their final day of the Iride program. He loved the jumps.
We are having some beautiful weather right now so on Monday, we spent some time at the river. Hunter and Stanley both went in! It was freezing.
I had a nice Mother’s Day today with some time at home this morning and some time out this afternoon. We met Grandma and Auntie Heather/Bryce at the marina for lunch and a play. I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful mom, and to be a mom to two great kids.
On Thursday afternoon, we attended the welcome to Kindergarten event at Arden Elementary. Hunter was very excited about it. He was mostly quiet during the hour we were there but he participated in all of the stations. Once we left, he talked about it a lot!
Today was Grady’s first track meet! He placed first in the 60m sprint and the 4x100 relay race. He also earned a 3rd place and an 8th place finish (I can’t remember in which events though). Today’s meet included 4 schools in the district. Two weeks from now will be the district wide meet.
