We took one last camping trip this summer with our friends, the Honeysett’s. It rained a bit on Saturday morning but cleared up in the afternoon. It was fun to explore the beach and relax around the campfire.

The midway
Last Friday, we went to the midway with Alysha and Everly. We had so much fun! The kids kept wanting to go on more rides. They weren’t scared at all. I was surprised because I find the Ferris wheel pretty terrifying!

A day with Bryce
Hunter and Bryce in their matching shirts.
Today we took care of Bryce for a few hours in the afternoon. Grady was at hockey camp and we missed having him along. But, we still had a full afternoon! Hunter loved pushing the buggy and playing with Bryce on the play mat.

Rathtrevor camping trip
We spent last week camping in Parksville for Grady’s hockey camp. We camped with 5 other families. There were 15 kids there! The big kids went to hockey camp during the day and played tag, cards, swam, and rode bikes all evening. Hunter and I filled our days with biking, mini golf, and walks around the campsite. Sandy worked the first half of the week and spent the second half of the week with us. It was a great family vacation.

Scotia Bay
This past weekend we went up past Port Hardy to camp and fish. It was a different experience but we all enjoyed it. The campsite was so quiet which was nice! The boys made friends with two kids from Vancouver. We fished in the mornings. Caught a few wild coho but couldn’t keep them. Everyone liked the ice cream from our trip into town!
