A day with Grandma and Papa

The boys spent the day with Grandma and Papa while I worked and they had the day off school. They made pancakes for breakfast and went to the park. Then they went to Grandma and Papa’s house where Grady and Papa played a few chess matches. It was a great day for the kids!

Look who received his first golden eagle today! For being “a kind, co-operative classmate - especially during centre time”!

Grandma bought some new foam tiles for Bryce. Hunter had fun rearranging them and trying to creatively spell a few names using just the 26 letters!

Hockey

We’ve been full on with hockey the past few weeks as Grady went through try-outs and Hunter started his own practices. Hunter was really excited for his turn on the ice!

Back to school

Back to school ... and work ... and hockey! 

What a week. Grady started grade 5, Hunter started gradual entry for Kindergarten, and I met my class this year. Also, Grady had hockey try-outs so we were at the rink every night! Grady made the first cut for the A team and in today’s game, he scored a hat trick!!! Final score for today was 3-3.

Labour day weekend

We went to the cabin for the last weekend of the summer and had a great time! We had good weather, awesome fishing, and wonderful family time too.
