Blur

This picture is blurry, but I still love it because it sums up Grady these days ... he's a blur! It doesn't seem like he ever sits still!

Happy 3rd Birthday Grady!

Today Grady turned three years old. He is a smart, funny, busy, active, and very sweet little boy.

For his birthday, we did many of his favorite things including playing soccer, blowing bubbles, painting, playing with his friends, watching a big digger and dump truck work, reading stories, going on a walk, and making pancakes for dinner. We finished off the day with a birthday bubble bath and then Grady watched his favorite cartoon ("Toopy and Binoo") before bed. It's amazing to think that three years have passed since the day he came into our lives.

Party time!

Today we had Grady's 3rd Birthday party. We had 5 of his little friends over to the house for a dinosaur-themed party. Everyone had a great time ... especially the birthday boy!

We took Grady fishing on Saturday morning. It was nice out and we had a great time teaching him how to reel his line in. He was so good at reeling it in that his line didn't actually spend that much time in the water! We had two fish on, but they both got away. Hopefully, we will catch Grady's first trout next time!

Grady outgrew his ball cap from last year, so we had to go shopping for a new cap for this Spring/Summer. He picked this one out and he looks so cute in it! And, also so much like a little boy ... where did the time go!?!
