Pumpkin cookies

My Mom made these pumpkin cookies for us every Halloween when we were kids. They are so yummy and it was always a big treat. It's fun to continue the tradition and make them for Grady. (We enjoy them too!)

Grandma Liz and Papa Dave went to Tofino for a mini-vacation when they were here visiting us. They brought back some beach treasures and rocks. Grady immediately took possession of the rock collection and has spent a lot of time sorting, organizing, and stacking his new rocks!

Hockey!

Grady had his first hockey practice last weekend!  We were all pretty excited.  He had the biggest cheering section with Auntie Heather, Grandma Liz, Papa Dave, Pam, and Papa Rob all there to watch.  These are the pictures from getting his gear on and getting ready to go on the ice.

 

 

Kayaking

We've had wonderful weather so far this Fall.  On the weekend, we went out kayaking.  Auntie Heather, Grady, and I all went together in a three-person kayak. It was a lot of fun!
