Tummy sleeper
The recommendation these days is that it is safer for babies to sleep on their backs. We follow this during the night, but in the daytime when I'm up and watching him, I often let Hunter sleep on his stomach. He seems to prefer it and naps for a lot longer this way!

Exersaucer
We pulled out the exersaucer the other day to see if Hunter was ready for it. He and Grady had fun playing with it for a little while (Grady was excited to show Hunter all of the little toys), but I don't think Hunter is quite old enough for it yet. We will try again in a few weeks.

10 weeks
Hunter is 10 weeks, 2 days old. We had his first visit with our family doctor today for his well-baby check-up. He weighs 15lbs. 8oz. and is 24.4" long which puts him in the 95th percentile for children his age. Nice and healthy! A few pictures from the past couple of weeks...

Hockey tourney
Between Christmas and New Year's, we went to Nanaimo for a hockey tournament. Grady's team played four games (won two, tied one, lost one). The scores weren't as important as the kids having fun. Lots of big, sweaty smiles from our little hockey star!
How Hunter spent the weekend ... bundled up in his fleecy suit watching his big brother!
Papa Rob came down to Nanaimo to watch the final game and sneak in a few baby snuggles.

Saturday morning beach walk
We woke up to sunshine and frost this morning. It was so pretty out that we decided to head out for a morning beach walk. Best decision ever! The beach was deserted and the light was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk.
