Intro to pony

Today Grady took an Intro to Pony lesson  at Sprout Meadows. It was neat for him to try something new. He really enjoyed all of the lesson, but said his favorite part was when he was allowed to trot with the horse at the end. 

The lesson started with learning how to care for the horse, Cookie.

Bowling with the cousins

Today we met Christa, Easton, and Esme in Campbell River for lunch and bowling. The kids had a great time, and the moms did too!

Playing trains

We pulled out Grady's old train set for Hunter. He's been having a lot of fun setting up the track and driving the trains. He's only happy if all 4 trains are together when he starts driving the engine!

Grady's novice team

This is Grady's first year playing novice. He was picked to play on one of the "rep" teams. We have 2-3 practices a week. It's busy but he's loving it. He's front left in the photo. 

More bunny

HP movie night

We just finished reading the second Harry Potter book with Grady so it was time for him to watch the movie. Part of Auntie Heather's original gift was the screening of each movie. Grady was really excited to go to Heather and Brad's tonight. He even dressed up in his gryffindoor robe.  

New bunny for Hunter

Grandma RonaLee and Papa Ken's birthday present arrived in the mail this morning. Hunter was so excited to see this soft and cuddly bunny in the package. There was also a new book which we had to sit down and read right away.
