Fidget spinners

These little toys are all the rage right now. I held out for as long as possible (even encouraging Grady to build one out of lego!). But, he had his first job last weekend (cat sitting) where he made $20 and the first item to buy on his list was a fidget spinner. So, off we went to the store. Of course, Hunter needed one too. 

 

My trip to Calgary

I am in Calgary this weekend to spend time with Di, Jan, and the babies. It's been wonderful to have the opportunity to visit.

Baseball tournament

Grady played in a baseball tournament in Comox this weekend. His team won three of their games and lost one. Grady played second base, short stop, left field, and he even tried pitching! (One strike out). It was a fun weekend at the ball park. 

 
 
 

 

Complete focus

Hunter found this little dry erase workbook in the art cupboard and started "working" right away. We've been working on an at-home novel study project for Grady, so I think Hunter was happy to have his own task.
