2019

We rang in the New Year at home in our pajamas and that was just fine with us! During the day we went for a lovely walk on the beach. The light was so beautiful. 

Gold in Victoria

On December 27th, we drove to Victoria for a hockey tournament. Grady’s team played very well and ended up winning all 5 of their games. The gold medal match was especially exciting! While we were there, Sandy and Grady had the opportunity to watch two world junior games as well. 

Christmas 2018

Christmas felt like a bit of a whirlwind this year. Between work and family life, we’ve been on the go a lot! We went to Gold River on Friday right after school let out for the holidays. Returned home on Sunday afternoon in time to host Christmas Eve at our house on Monday evening! It was a busy few days but so much fun. We were lucky to get in lots of visiting with almost all of our extended family!

Christmas concert

Today was Hunter’s first Arden Christmas concert and Grady’s last one. The school put on a play called “A Pirate’s Christmas” and it was very well done. I didn’t get the best photos because we were quite far back. (Hunter yawned through the kindergarten song!)
