Hunter’s first school dance

On Friday, Hunter’s Kindergarten teachers hosted a classroom dance for the kids since the students had filled the jewel jar with good behaviour. Hunter was so excited! He spent days planning his outfit. The morning of, he asked Grady to do his hair. One of his teachers sent home a few pictures and Hunter was a dancing machine!

 

Division 2 Atom Champions!

Grady’s team played in a semi final yesterday and a final today. They won both games making them the division champs. Grady scored 3 goals today and 1 yesterday. It was so fun to watch his team play so well together.

Field trip to Victoria

Today I booked a day off work so I could drive for Grady’s field trip to Victoria. We visited the legislative buildings and had the opportunity to sit in on a discussion in the House of Commons! We also went to the museum and the IMAX. On the way home, we stopped at Transfer beach to eat pizza and play. It was a great day and I was glad to be a part of it. 

Bryce

Hunter and I had the opportunity to watch Bryce for a little while on Saturday. We had lots of fun - even if Bryce’s expression tells a different story!

Gold! (and MVP)

Grady’s hockey team played in a tournament in CR over the Family Day weekend. They played well enough to make the finals where they really turned it on. They probably played their best team game this season and won the gold medal! Grady was awarded MVP for his team (which is given out after each game and mostly rotated through the team but he did play very well). 

Also, I’ve been having some major technical difficulties with the blogger app. I’ve finallu found a way around it, so fingers crossed that this keeps working!

NHL Spot It

Jim, Liz, Ben, and Jill sent the boys a game called NHL Spot It. They’ve been having fun with it. Hunter was the big winner on our first night of playing!

Hunter’s hockey tourney

The first weekend of January was Hunter’s hockey jamboree. He played all 4 games and did a great job of skating around the action. He also waved to his fans a lot! Even though his impact on the ice was minimal, he was so excited to receive this digger award.
