Cabin Trip

We were so fortunate to get a cabin trip with Grandma Liz, Papa Dave, and Auntie Heather.  The weather was a bit cool and the fishing was pretty slow, but we still had a great time. Highlights for Grady included taking Ryder to shore, fishing with Auntie Heather out of his boat, exploring the shoreline with Grandma Liz, getting firewood with Daddy, prawning with Papa Dave, and a beautiful afternoon fishing at the Lighthouse.

Qualicum Mini-Village

Last week we went to Qualicum to check out the mini-village they had set up for kids.  There was a road that the kids could ride on, with a bunch of shops around the perimeter. Grady liked grocery shopping and going to the post office, but his favorite part was trying out all of the different vehicles.
