Early risers

Hunter usually wakes up first and goes straight to Grady's room to get him up. They head directly to the kitchen where Grady starts making their first breakfast of the day. Usually I sneak a few more moments under the covers but today I took pictures. The way Grady takes care of Hunter is amazing, and I love the way Hunter watches his big brother.

Today was my birthday. Sandy made us a nice breakfast. My Mom and Dad took me tree shopping for our new garden. We had a nice hangout in the backyard this afternoon and a great dinner tonight. I feel so lucky to have such a loving family and caring friends.

Homemade play doh

Today we made play doh. Grady loved the whole experience. Hunter didn't like the feel of mixing the ingredients together. They both enjoyed the finished product. 

A rainy weekend at the cabin

We spent this past weekend at the cabin. It poured rain pretty much the entire time, but we still enjoyed ourselves. We played a lot of cards and board games. The boys still managed to get some fishing in off the dock. And, Grady learned how to tie a fishing knot.
