We spent four nights at the cabin over Canada Day weekend with everyone. It was rainy weather but that didn't stop us from having a great time. Lots of special memories for all of us.

School is out for summer!
Yesterday was Grady's last day of Grade two. He had a wonderful year and most notably, learned how to read this school year. He started the year pausing on every word he was reading and is now reading chapter books on his own! The writing he produced is also good quality. He uses a lot of descriptive words and organizes his thoughts well.
With his excellent report card.

Baseball Sunday
Today we went to Nanaimo so Grady could play two baseball games. He did so well with a couple of amazing innings at catcher, second base, and left field. Also, he made it on base every time he was up to bat!
