Our trip to Ontario

Last week we went to Ontario to visit family and to celebrate my Grandma's 90th birthday! We had a great time seeing everyone and Grady was the hit of every party. Over the past couple of months, his personality has really started to shine. He is a happy little boy who is absolutely full of life. He loves attention and he loves people.

While we were there, his walking really improved. He has pretty much stopped crawling and is now walking, or running, everywhere!

One Small Scotsman

Grandma and Grandpa Syme sent Grady this outfit: a kilt with a matching hat! (There is also a long-sleeved red t-shirt with a black vest that completes the look. These pictures were taken right before bathtime, so Grady only tried on the the items that were easy to get on. More pictures [of the whole outfit] coming soon). It is absolutely adorable!

Before bathtime, we take Grady's clothes and diaper off and let him have a little naked time - he loves it!

Sunshine ... finally!

After a week of rain, we were happy to wake up to the sun this morning. We spent the whole day outside in the yard. Sandy and I worked on the garden and lawn while Grady played. It was a great day.

New boots - a gift from Grandma and Grandpa Syme that arrived in the mail yesterday - perfect timing with all the rain we've been getting!

The "before bed sillies"

Grady's bedtime is 7pm. Every night, around 6:30pm, he gets a bad case of the "before bed sillies". He starts to get a little over-tired and begins to laugh and talk and roll around all over the floor. Watch the videos and you'll see (Ryder was getting lots of attention from Grady tonight).
