Not happy

Grady has taken to climbing on his high chair like it's a set of monkey bars. I'm worried that he is going to fall off the top of it, so I've been turning it on it's side so that he can't climb up. This does not make him happy ....

And, one more photo, one where he isn't screaming!

Cookie

Grady's vocabulary is expanding at a rapid pace now - he says at least one new word a day. Some of his words are starting to actually sound like they are supposed to (ie. dog, neck, coat), but some of his words still sound like his made up version (ie. gug-gug = cookie).

Puzzling

Grady received two wooden puzzles for Christmas and he loves them! He will spend 5-10 minutes sitting quietly by himself putting the pieces together, which means that I love the puzzles too!!!

Say "Please"

We are trying to teach Grady how to say, "Please" ... so far it has not been too successful!

New Year's

We rang in the New Year with Grandma RonaLee, Grandpa Ken, Darryl, Christa, and Easton. It was great fun to play games and watch the babies run around and cause chaos!

Two mischievous little boys: trying to get into the kitchen drawers.

Smothering Grandma with love ...

And, she's getting him back!

On the weekend, we went up to Gold River for the night for a hockey game. Auntie Christa had Grady and Easton laughing so hard. She built them a little fort using her curtains and was playing peek-a-boo with them - they absolutely loved it!

Christmas in Fort Mac.

On Christmas Eve, we flew up to Fort McMurray. We had a wonderful week there full of fun, laughter, yummy food, and lots of family time! The weather stayed relatively mild for our whole trip, so we were able to go outside with Grady almost every day. He loved spending time with his "Ya-ya" ( Auntie Heather), his "Dan-ma" (Grandma Liz) and his "Ba-pa" (Grandpa Dave).

Going for a walk on our first day in Fort Mac.

Opening up a Christmas Eve gift with Grandma

Yay ... more blocks!

A Christmas morning snuggle with Grandpa (who had just finished working a cycle that ended with three night shifts).

Surveying all the gifts on Christmas morning.

Opening his stocking.

Playing with his Mr. Potato Head from Auntie Heather.

Playing with his new safari puzzle and wearing his new beach outfit from Grandma and Grandpa.

A big hug for Ya-ya!

Hanging out with Ba-pa.

On our way to the sled hill (in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard).

First ride down with Auntie Heather.

Going down the hill with Dad.

Mom's in the action too!

How we spent a lot of our time: building block towers.

Cuddling with Grandma.

All ready for Christmas dinner.
