38 weeks

Oh my goodness ... check out the difference in those pictures! (Hilarious that I thought I was big at 14 weeks .. ha, ha!). Baby is about 20" long and weighs about 7.5 lbs. It's continuing to build up body fat, putting on about 1 oz. a day.

I'm still feeling pretty good for the most part. Doing anything quickly has become a thing of the past, but I've been walking about 4km a day. It just takes me a long time! (about an hour). Baby seems pretty comfy and continues to enjoy practicing it's karate kicks at nighttime!

37 weeks!!!

At 37 weeks, we are officially full-term. Baby could be born at any time and be considered fully developed and healthy. It's all still very surreal feeling, but we are so excited to meet this little one.

37 weeks!

Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch

This year, we went to check out a new pumpkin patch in town. It's their first year in operation and they had a lot of neat things. There was a hay maze, pumpkin bowling, a ring toss with pumpkins, a little petting zoo, "tractor row" with lots of old machinery, and a big pumpkin patch!

An awesome patch full of pumpkins!

Home Depot

Our adventures today included a stop at Home Depot where they were hosting the Fire Department and a kids workshop. Grady had a chance to sit in the driver's seat of the firetruck - he was thrilled! We also picked up a wooden airplane kit that came with an orange apron (like the people who work at HD wear).

"Driving" the fire truck!

Sporting his Home Depot apron. He promptly filled it with tools (tape measure, highlighter, flashlight) and got to "work"!

35 weeks!!!

35 weeks ... how did that happen!?!

Baby is approximately 18.5" long and weighs about 5.5 lbs. Lungs are almost fully developed, reflexes are coordinated, and baby's main job is to put on weight over the next few weeks.

I am still feeling pretty good. I'm tired at night and am experiencing a bit of hip/pelvis pain. But, I've still been getting out for a good walk every day. I always feel better after a bit of exercise.  I feel hyper aware that these are the last few weeks of being pregnant and am focusing on enjoying every bit of it.

Hockey videos

We are a few weeks into hockey and it's amazing how much Grady's skating has already improved. (He's in the blue jersey).
