Home visit

Yesterday Joanne came to our house for my appointment. Don't worry ... we are still having the baby at the hospital! It was just more convenient to meet here because she was going to be in the area. Plus, it was a bonus for me because I didn't have to drive out to her place.

Our visit was pretty uneventful. My blood pressure was good, no more weight gain, fundal height was 38.5 cm. Baby's heart rate was strong at 140 beats per minute.

Joanne did mention that the baby's head is very, very low. In fact, she said it was pretty much as far down as it was going to get without actually being born! I was pretty excited to hear that because although I don't feel any different, things are obviously starting to happen!
